StayC – Press Relations

Stay C Property Management

New giant in Belgian real estate management, new PR client StayC.

The short-term rental market has seen significant growth in recent years, especially due to the rise of online platforms. The demand for aparthotels in Europe is increasing due to international travel, experiential tourism, and the preference for more flexibility. Major hotel chains like Marriott Hotels and independent operators are expanding their offerings in European cities. Aparthotels offer the perfect blend of hotel services and the freedom of an apartment, making them ideal for business travelers, families, and digital nomads. The trend continues to grow, with four prominent platforms (such as Booking.com & Airbnb) registering over 300 million overnight stays in short-term rental accommodations in 2023 (source: Eurostat).

Eduard Van Nevel & Anthony Vancauwenberghe, cleverly saw something in this evolution by renting out their own properties, discovering an interesting gap in the market. This led to the founding of StayC in 2020, a platform that aims to relieve both landlords and tenants. With a team now consisting of over 44 specialists, StayC is off to a strong start in Belgium, managing more than 600 units. “We mainly see increased demand in cities where business travelers, expats, and digital nomads are looking for flexible living solutions. Fully equipped units for short and longer stays, combined with the possibility to work in a quiet, urban environment. The locations are strategically chosen in cities, making the mix of work and leisure possible. The proximity to business centers and good public transport connections play a key role”, says Eduard.

“Our milestone for 2028? Becoming a European player with 5,000 units”
In just a few years, StayC has built a solid foundation with rental locations in 9 Belgian cities, a strong team and AI system that makes the business particularly scalable. By September 2024, they had over 600 units for rent. Next year, that number should be at least 1,200, and within five years, 5,000 units. That’s the milestone for 2028. Ultimately, we want to become a European player with operational staff in all relevant cities.

(How we did it?)

To prepare this press release, we first conducted in-depth research to understand the trends shaping the market and the client’s sector. We looked for a distinctive angle to connect Stay C’s story to a broader, relevant topic. This led us to the growing ‘aparthotel’ trend. By analysing Eurostat data and creating clear, insightful graphs, we were able to link market developments directly to Stay C’s activities, resulting in a press release that was both highly relevant and newsworthy.
